Introduction
This policy covers wakespotclub.com and portodilago.com, both operated by Porto di Lago, Ruta Provincial 39, La Florida, San Luis, Argentina (Tax ID 42207573) ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller for the personal information described below. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at privacy@wakespotclub.com.
Information we collect
Contact and booking enquiries. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, message, and optionally your preferred dates/duration and language. This is sent directly to our booking system (see “Third-party services” below).
Analytics data (only if you accept the “Analytics” cookie category). Google Analytics 4 collects pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device/browser type, language, and interactions such as clicking through to Instagram or our contact section. This data is pseudonymous and tied to a browser-generated identifier, not to your name or email.
Aggregate performance data. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights measure page load performance and traffic volume in aggregate. This does not use cookies and cannot identify you individually.
Embedded map (portodilago.com only, and only if you accept the “Embedded content” cookie category). Loading the Google Maps embed lets Google set its own cookies and collect data under Google’s Privacy Policy.
Server logs. Your IP address is briefly used server-side to prevent spam/abuse on our contact form. It is held in memory for up to 60 seconds and is not stored or linked to your identity.
If you book a program that includes a minor, you as the parent/guardian are providing that minor’s information to us, and confirm you have the authority to do so.
How we use your information
We use contact/booking details to respond to your enquiry and arrange your visit. We use analytics (only with your consent, via the cookie banner) to understand how people use the site and improve it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for automated decision-making.
Our legal basis for each of these: responding to enquiries relies on performance of a contract, or steps prior to entering one; analytics and the Maps embed rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via Cookie settings in the footer; fraud/abuse prevention on the contact form relies on our legitimate interest in keeping the service usable.
Third-party services
Airtable, Inc. (United States) stores contact form submissions on our behalf. Google LLC provides Google Analytics 4 (if you accept Analytics cookies) and Google Maps (if you accept Embedded content cookies). Vercel Inc. hosts the site and provides cookieless aggregate analytics. Where these providers process data outside your country, they do so under their own applicable safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
Data retention
Contact form submissions are kept in Airtable for 90 days, then deleted. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months from collection (Google’s default), after which it is automatically deleted. Server logs used for rate-limiting are held for seconds, not persisted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent for its processing. To exercise any of these, email privacy@wakespotclub.com. If you’re in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you’re in Argentina, you may contact the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update the “Last updated” date above whenever we make material changes, and post the revised policy here.
